The Autumn Tag!

Hi Everyone!! It's been a while!! Unfortunately I'm not here to stay, because I'm still without a laptop! I just thought while this Tag is going round, I'd grab my Dad's iMac for 5 minutes and get something typed up for you all! I've missed blogging sooooo much over these past few months, and I really can't wait to get back to it! I promise I'll try my best to do in the very near future. But for now here's the Autumn Tag to give you something new to read EVENTUALLY and to help settle my craving to blog! I do literally crave it, it's insane!!

For Autumn, what is your...
1.  Favourite thing about it? I love so many things about Autumn, the dark nights mean more cuddling up watching films with my boyfriend, getting all cosy and warm in my onesies, big coats and jumpers! And of course Halloween, one of my all time favourite holidays!!

2.  Favourite drink? In Autumn, just like at Christmas I love the Gingerbread Lattes from Costa :)

3.  Favourite scent/candle? Anything that smells like Cinnamon!

4.  Best lipstick? Like everyone I like to dig out all my deep dark berry colours at this time of year, my Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107 made its first outing in months on Saturday! And I'm sure it won't be its last. I really want MAC Rebel this Autumn aswell.

5.  Go to moisturiser? I don't change my moisturiser when the seasons change. I probably should but I don't!

6.  Go to colours for the eyes? They don't usually change as I'm not that adventerous when it comes to eyeshadows, I have been using bronze and golds a lot recently though. I really want to try out some berry colours aswell, I found this on the beautiful Kayleighs blog from last year and would love to try it out! If I ever get the courage to buy the colours!

7.  Favourite music or band/singer to listen to? This stays the same as well, I listen to all types of music all year round! LOVE Christmas songs as soon as December comes round though!

8.  Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo)? Skinny jeans, boots and a big thick jumper :)

9.  Autumn treat? I usually buy a new coat and pair of boots every year! I'll do the same this year and hopefully buy the MAC items I have mentioned above aswell!

10.  Favourite place to be?
Cuddled up in bed or on the settee watch TV and Films with my boyfriend!

There we go then, My first blog post in months. Sorry it was very short and sweet but i hope you enjoyed it non the less! I tag you all to do this, and be sure to tell me if you do! Hopefully I'll be here again soon. Thank You all for your continued support when I haven't been here, every single comment, follow and view means the world to me!
Much Love Gemma xo.

How I Clean My Make Up Brushes

Hi Everyone. Today I thought I'd share with you how I clean my make up brushes. I don't do anything special with them and in all honesty I am down right lazy when it comes to brush cleaning! Only doing it every so often when I finally remember! It's pretty disgusting and shameful I know. I'm sorry!

All I use to clean my brushes is a cheap baby shampoo and a sponge.

To be precise I use this Wilkinson's own baby shampoo and a cheap Wilkinsons bath sponge. In total they probably cost less than £2 to buy. So you really don't need buckets of money to keep your brushes clean and hygienic! This is what I do every month or so to get my brushes nice and clean. I know I should really do it once a week but like I said I'm lazy :| -

Step 1 -

I run the brush under luke warm water. Not hot! Trying to only wet the bristles so I don't remove any of the glue holding the brush together which could potentially ruin the whole thing.

Step 2 -

Wet the sponge and apply a blob of shampoo on to it. Swirl the brush in it and rinse, continuing to do so until the water runs clear, and all make up is removed.

Step 4 -

Finally I re shape my brushes and lie them flat on a towel to dry over night. If I need my brushes in a hurry. Eg, I'm going on a night out and decide hours before leaving the house, I need to clean my brushes. I will clean them as normal and set them out on a window sill where the sunlight can dry them! Which probably isn't good for my brushes and isn't always possible. So I need some kind of spot cleaning product to help me out in times like these and to also keep my brushes cleaner and more hygenic! If you use a spot cleaner please let me know which one you use so I can take a look at them. I'm thinking of buying the MAC Brush Cleanser so please give me your opinions on that.
For reference the majority of my brushes are Real Techniques, which I absolutely adore!! I also have a brush roll of around 24 brushes from when I did Beauty Therapy at college, these are the pinky/purple handled ones. I only ever use them when I am desperate, because they really are pretty rubbish! Hence why there's only 4 of them here. And that little black brush is the brush that came with my Maybelline Gel Eyeliner! I love it. I'd love to know your favourite brushes, because I am looking to buy some new ones.
I hope you enjoyed this post and some of you may have a better idea of how to clean your brushes now.
Much Love Gemma xo.

Tag: Would You Rather? Beauty Edition

Hi Beauties, if you follow me on Twitter you will probably know I have been trying and failing to get back into blogging recently, but for some reason I just can not seem to string sentences together. So instead of stressing myself out even more I thought I would take a break and do this tag that's been doing the rounds on several Beauty blogs recently. So you eventually have something to read from me.

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I don't have too many eyeshadows and only have the one palette so I would have to say those. I'm not too adventurous with eyeshadow, its either a full on dark smokey eye or barely anything at all for me. So losing them wouldn't be too horrendous! I'd hate to lose the others though! Except from the lipgloss I very rarely wear it!

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Chop it all off, it'll grow back eventually! And I could try out short hair styles that I am too scared to have now. Never cutting it again would result in horrible scraggly hair! Not nice.

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink, coral scares me for some reason. I feel like I'd look orange!

If you had £1000 to spend, Would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I'd love to say £500 on each, but I'd have to go with clothes shoes and accessories because I don't have that much, my make up collection however is rather large!

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eww, neither. I really don't know. There are no eyeliners I'd wear on my lips! And lipsticks would be awful on the eyes! However a black lipstick would work, so Lipstick as Eyeliner as long as its black.

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Here in the UK we don't have Sephora so I'd have to say MAC.

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
Eyeshadow, like I said I'm not too adventurous with eyeshadow but I'm obsessed with lipstick and always like to change the colour I wear, so I couldn't deal with only having one!

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Once again, I haven't got a clue. Erm winter clothes in summer. I hate being cold. And I suppose I could cut up clothes in summer to make them more bearable!

Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Why are all these questions so tricky?! I'd probably say dark because they would go with more outfits! Although I would hate to give up all my bright polishes! I just don't know!!

Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Eye product. I have spent far more money on high end lip products so I'd hate to waste the money by giving them up!

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?
Ponytail you can do different things with a ponytail, whereas a messy bun can only be a messy bun!

Would your rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

Never use lipgloss, I hardly ever wear it right now so it probably wouldn't make a difference to me.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? or sharpie them in everyday?
Sharpie them in. Eyebrows make your face, I'd look horrific without any so I'd somehow try and get a sharpie to work!

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Nail polish, I know I love the stuff but I don't leave the house without make up very often plus I can't wear nail polish at work so I'd have to get rid of that and stick with make up.

If you haven't done this tag already you should. Although the questions are really difficult it is fun to try to answer them. Make sure to let me know where I can read yours if you do it :)
I'll hopefully be back to normal blogging sometime soon, hoping my laptop will be sorted ASAP. Please bare with me though and thank you for being so patient.
Much Love Gemma xo.

MUA Undress Me Too Eyeshadow Palette

Hi Girls, once again my apologies for not posting anything for such a long time! I still haven't got a new laptop charger so can only get on my laptop when I can get hold of my brothers charger!
Today I'm going to show you the ever so popular MUA Undress Me Too Palette. That I picked up sometime last month.

This palette is famous for being an amazing dupe for the Naked 2 palette from Urban Decay, having never owned a UD palette I was really excited to try out this much cheaper alternative. After looking in Superdrug countless amounts of times and not coming across it I gave up hope of ever finding this beauty in town. Then one day I found the whole Undress Me collection tucked away on the side of one of the aisles! WHY have you done this Superdrug?! Instead of putting the collection with the rest of the MUA  make up its hidden away! I just do not understand it. Anyway enough whinging and on to the actual product! I was over the moon to eventually get my hands on this product and couldn't wait to try it out (not before I had took pictures of course! brownie points for being a good beauty blogger for once :P I resisted using this for days so I could get you guys some nice clean pictures!) I haven't got any swatches but here are some pictures to give you an idea of the shades.

(naked, devotion, tranquil, exposed)
 (shy, fiery, reveal, wink)
(lavish, dreamy, obsessed, corrupt)

In all honesty I haven't used every single shadow in the palette, but the ones I have used I am really impressed with. The pigmentation is exceptional for a £4 palette, if you do the maths that comes to just over 33p per shadow, amazing huh?! The staying power is also really good, weather I use these for during the day or a night out I never have to re apply and that's without using a primer! So I imagine with one they will be even better. The palette has a mix of both matte and shimmer shades, which is perfect for me because I love to use both finishes depending on my mood and the make up look I am wanting to achieve. I believe this is the first MUA palette that has named shadows, which I really like, there's nothing worse than trying to explain a product to someone when said product doesn't have a name! The shades I reach for most within in this palette are - Naked and Lavish for a soft matte smokey eye for a neutral day time look, and Fiery, Obsessed and Corrupt for a more dark smokey eye for a night out, I have also used Devotion in the inner corners of my eyes for a lovely pop of golden highlight. If I ever get the confidence and camera skills to show you any of my make up looks I will definitely use this to paint you a better picture of this amazing product. But for the time being a hope this post has given you a nice insight into this much loved product. If you haven't got it already and have £4 going spare, I strongly suggest you go and pick it up. It really is brilliant value for money! Weather it's as good as Urban Decay Naked 2, I obviously can't comment but it's a fabulous palette all the same!

My First Ever...GlossyBox!

Hi Everyone. I know you have probably all seen the April GlossyBox by now, but I just had to show you what I got in my box, because it was my very first and I absolutely love it!

Like I said this is the first ever GlossyBox that I have got. And I am still really excited about it. I love all of the contents and as for this special one off design, it's lovely! I am so pleased I eventually got round to subscribing and I can't wait for my next box to arrive. On to the contents:

Essie Nail Polish in Eternal Optimist -

As well as getting my first ever Glossybox, this was my first ever Essie Polish. I was over the moon when I opened the box to find this little beauty staring back at me. I've wanted an Essie for such a long time but with the price tag it carries and the fact I don't have a counter where I live, meant I have been holding back. When I first saw Eternal Optimist, I wasn't exactly blown away. But after trying it on I fell in love, its a gorgeous dusky rose pink and it looks lovely even on my small broken work worn nails! I'm very impressed!

Sleek Blush in Flamingo -

Once again my town doesn't stock Sleek. Superdrug did have it years ago but I wasn't as into make up back then so I only ever tried out the Kajal Eyeliner, which by the way I loved. Since falling more in love with make up, I am devastated that I didn't try out more Sleek products when it was so easily available to me and I've been wanting to get my hands on quite a few of their things, the blushers being one of them! I received this one in the colour Flamingo which is a gorgeous bright bright pink. I haven't tried it yet but it looks super pigmented and I can't wait to wear it. It reminds me of a Barry M blusher I had years ago, which I think may have been called Raspberry! Non of my pictures did the colour any justice so I advise you to look for swatches online or try it in store yourself if you are interested.

A-Derma Intense Repair Lip Balm -

This lip balm is gorgeous! It's made with a 100% natural active ingredient, Rhealba Oat Milk, which leaves your lips incredibly smooth. It is meant to provide your lips with a long last protective film that leaves them nourished and soothed, and it definitely does! I apply this every night before bed and wake up with really soft lips. It's slowly knocking my beloved Carmex off the top spot!

Nip + Fab Dry Skin Fix Body Butter in Coconut Latte -

I haven't actually used this body butter yet so I can't really comment on it, but the smell is delicious!! It has a coconut smell to it which for some bizzare reason reminds me of Play Dough from when I was a kid! I can't even stress how much I adore the smell of Play Dough so I loved this as soon as I smelt it! I have high hopes for this product, its look really thick and moisturising. I will get round to using it one day and let you know my thoughts.

Yves Rocher - So Elixir Purple Perfume -

I'm so rubbish with scents its untrue, so I will give you the description provided in the leaflet you recieve with your GlossyBox - 'an intoxicating and magnetic fragrance, which boasts a unique infusion of Tuberose, Vetiver and Patchouli culminating in a floral-woody elixir' in all honesty that makes no sense to me whatsoever! All I can say is, it's a rather deep dark smell that I wouldn't usually go for. But in actual fact I really like. It would be perfect for a night out!

So there you have it my very first GlossyBox. I absolutely loved it and I am so excited to get my hands on next months in the next few weeks! What day are they usually delivered does anyone know?? I have very high hopes for it! And am definitely sticking with my subscription for the foreseeable.
Much Love Gemma xo.

Tangle Teezer

Hey Everyone. Last week my lovely boyfriend got me the Tangle Teezer for my birthday :) I've been after this for ages, since reading raving reviews about it on countless beauty blogs. Needless to say I was over the moon to receive it on Wednesday!

Recently I have been doing anything I can to try and get my hair to grow and apparently this helps majorly. Because of the different sized bristles of the Tangle Teezer it is meant to effortlessly detangle hair without the pulling and tugging you get from regular brushes. I 100% agree with this claim, this brush effortlessly takes out any knots in my hair and even with hairspray in, it doesn't tug and hurt my head while I'm brushing!

I've also noticed a decrease in the amount of hair in my brush after use! Which will hopefully help with hair growth in the long term. The shape of the brush is something you have to get used to. After using brushes with handles for years this is really strange, but it fits well into the hand and is really easy to use. After only using the Tangle Teezer for a week I can't really give you any more details. All I can say is this, so far I love it!! This brush makes detangling so much easier and leaves my hair soft and smooth. I haven't used any other brush since I got it. And hopefully it will help with my hair growth. I'll keep you updated!

Have you tried the Tangle Teezer? If not I strongly advise investing in one! £10.99 may seem a bit steep but I definitely think it's worth it!
Let me know your thoughts.
Much Love Gemma xo.

Lancome Ombre Absolue - G40

Hi Everyone, I'm back :) but honestly don't know how long for, my laptop charger is buggared and I am undecided on weather to replace it AGAIN (i got a new one about a month ago and its now broke!!) or just start fresh with a brand new laptop. So until I save money and decide what to do , I'll be using my brothers charger whenever I can, meaning blog posts could well be few and far between! I'm sorry!!
Now I've cleared that up I want to show you my one of my latest eyeshadow purchases.

I first set eyes on this Lancome Ombre Absolue in shade G40 a few weeks ago when I realised it was on sale for £8.50 down from £17 in Debenhams. I swatched it and fell in love. First of all its tiny and I can't imagine I would ever have spent £17 on it! But the colour is to die for!! It's really hard to explain and looks so different on every skin tone and in different light but to me its a mix of silver grey and a slight khaki colour! And when I swatched it, it was the most gorgeous sparkly color I have ever set my eyes on! Now I'm not always a fan of shimmer but I just had to have this! Don't ask me why I was just drawn in as soon as I saw it, and bought it as soon as I had money! I haven't actually used it yet so I can't tell you much more. But I had to share it with you. If you have it please do let me know your thoughts, and I will keep you updated with use!

Much Love Gemma xo.

March Favourites

Hi ladies, Every time I do a favourites post I always say to myself, next month I'll post this before the second week of the month but I just can't seem to do that so here I am on the 8th April eventually telling you the products I was loving in the month of March.

My first favourite product is an extremely popular one from Soap & Glory -

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub - I had been after this product for such a long time after hearing so much about it on blogs and falling in love with the scent on a trip to Boots. For months I pondered over weather to buy it or not, but never did! Eventually back in February I bought it, although I didn't use it til last month. I absolutely fell in love with it after the first use. The smell is even more amazing with use, its a gorgeous mix of brown sugar and lime, that for some reason reminds me of Coca Cola. It also does a fantastic job of exfoliating your skin leaving it super soft and smooth.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo - When I bought the Sugar Crush Scrub I also purchased the infamous Effaclar Duo, that has been dubbed as the must have product for problematic skin. I won't go into too much detail, as I am planning on dedicating a full post to this product. But it really did start to work for me last month and has become a staple in my skincare routine.

And finally my favourite makeup items from March

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in Lychee - I love the new Gelly Hi-Shine formula from Barry M. They are fully opaque in 1 or 2 coats and are super shiny without the use of a topcoat. Lychee was my first colour from the range and I love it. Whenever I wore nail polish in March (if your a regular reader of my blog you will know that this isn't actually very often) this is the one I chose, its a beautiful beige nude that works well even with my super pale skin tone. You can read my review of this here!

Nivea Raspberry Rose Lip Butter - As you may or may not know I love anything Raspberry flavoured/scented and this is no exception! I bought this on a whim one day and have been using it most days ever since. The smell is gorgeous. And the formula is lovely and creamy that leaves my lips really soft. It isn't as good as my Carmex lip balm but when my lips are slightly dry I apply this to give them back a bit of moisture. It also slighty tints my lips a very light pink which looks really nice on days where I don't want to wear a lipstick.

YSL Volume Effect Faux Clis Mascara - I have been using this mascara constantly since I got it and it's my favourite out of all the mascaras I have tried so far. Although it's on the pricey side it is really good. It gives amazing length and volume to the lashes and looks fantastic on a night out without the need for false eyelashes. If you would like a more in depth review, feel free to ask!

Once again I actually found it really difficult to come up with a decent amount of products to feature in this post. Because I really haven't been finding any new products that really take my fancy. I hope you enjoyed reading about these 5 little gems though.
Sorry for the lateness again.
Much Love Gemma xo.

Beauty Wishlist!

Hello again lovelies, I've decided to do a little wishlist post for you all today, because recently all I've really posted is my 10 Day You Challenge and I still haven't got round to taking any pictures. This will probably be a long list and I doubt I will ever purchase it all, but its nice to hope for lovely things isn't it?! :) lets get started.

1. Sleek Face Contour Kit - I've wanted this for ages! Everyone seems to have it and raves about it, I currently use the Bourjois chocolate bronzer to contour and I really don't like it, and even though I have my Dior Rose Diamond for a highlight, I think this would be better to use on a day to day basis. And its all in one container, which is always more convenient :) My Superdrug doesn't stock Sleek anymore for some bizarre reason so I'll have to get it online instead and hope the light palette matches my skin tone!

2. Macadamia Flawless Cradle - I think I might have first saw Macadamia Flawless on thesundaygirl's blog and it really appealed to me. It's a cleansing conditioner that comes out of the can as a foam then lathers to a lovely thick cream which is great to both shampoo and condition the hair. I actually hate 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioners but this is apparently amazing so I really want to try it. Whilst looking on feelunique.com I spotted this cradle that comes with the Flawless cleanser (100ml), a 30ml Macadamia Oil and an Oil Infused Comb. If you bought all the products separately it would come to £46 but this cradle is £21.88 which is an absolute bargain and I love the look of that comb!!

3. MAC Lipsticks - I have my eyes on a few MAC Lipsticks at the minute, which are Rebel, Velvet Teddy (only because it's apparently Megan Fox's go to nude and I am in love with that woman) Costa Chic (thanks to a recent post by Kayleigh from CoutureGirl) Candy Yum Yum and Chatterbox. If you can't tell I love MAC lipsticks and really want to start a collection!!

4. Origins Clear Improvements Mask - My skin really annoys me with its huge clogged pores (sorry that sounds vile!) and apparently this is a wonder product for both these problems. So I want to try it out! At £20 though its a bit steep so I still haven't took the plunge and bought it.

5. Emma Hardie 2 Piece Cleansing System - Again the Emma Hardie Natural Lift & Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm is meant to be amazing and I really want to try it out. You can buy this cleansing set including the balm, a face cloth and Aromatherapy Infused Rose Hip Exfoliating Seeds for £38 on QVC  and I really want it!

6. Urban Decay Palettes, Naked, Naked 2 and Naked Basics - Since the first Naked Palette came out I have been dying to get my hands on it and each time a new one comes out I want that as well. They all  look like amazing palettes and I can't choose which one I would prefer so I want the full collection. #typicalbblogger :P

7. Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers - I have the Enrapture Totem Styler which I absolutely adore! And these look just as good. I really enjoy adding volume to my hair with velcro rollers and these look so much better, at both volumising and curling your hair quickly and easily. I really want to try them out.

8. Illamasqua Speckle Polish in Scarce - Ever since the I'mperfection came out I have been eyeing up these bird egg inspired polishes! I've never seen anything like them before, they look like a really interesting and different polish. I would of course get this beautiful pink colour 'Scarce' because I am obsessed with anything pink :)

9. L'Oreal Powder Tecni Art Super Dust - I've only heard this product mentioned once, and that was by Tanya Burr so I immediately wanted to try it out! It apparently gives the most amazing volume to the hair and I love nothing more than voluminous hair! But for over £10 I am a bit hesitant to try it out. Maybe one day!

Hope you enjoyed this slightly different post. If you have any of these products please do let me know what you think of them. And if you want to check any of them out click on the name of the product which will take you straight to the website you can buy them from :)

Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac Face Mask

Hi Girls, I feel like I haven't done an actual Beauty post for so long now, So I've decided to tell you about the Face Mask I used on Wednesday when I had a bit of a pamper, (you can read about that HERE.)

The Mud Pac mask is my 6th from Montagne Jeunesse. And I really do like them, They are perfectly sized sachets that give enough product to cover the whole face. And for only £1 each (from Wilkinsons, they vary from around £1 -£3 depending on where you buy from) they are really good value for money. This one does exactly what it says and gives you a really deep pore cleanse. After applying this and then removing after 15 minutes, my pores were clear and my skin was really soft. It didn't irritate my skin at all and was lovely and relaxing as I sat there with it on my face. It dries like a clay mask and I weirdly like the feeling of not being able to move my face properly when it is completely dry. The only thing I was disappointed with was the colour of the mask itself. From the picture on the front of the package I was expecting a bright turquoise green colour but instead was greeted by a light milky green! Non the less it worked, so in the end I wasn't too fussed. I would definitely repurchase this a long with my other favourite, the Hot Chocolate Orange mask.

(an amusing picture of the mask on my face and the colour that I was so disappointed with)

If your after a cheap deep cleansing mask I would recommend going out and finding this. Or having a look at the other masks in the range if your looking for something else. They are fantastic :)

10 Day You Challenge. Day 10 - 1 Picture Of Yourself

Hey Everyone, I did it, This is the last day of my 10 day challenge and I've actually completed it in the allotted 10 days.No late posts, no missing days or anything. I'm proud of my little self haha. So here's the last 10, a picture of me.

I haven't had my picture took on my own for absolutely ages, and don't really want to use a picture with other people in it without asking their permission and I really can't be bothered to do all my make up just for this post (i'm sorry) so here's an old webcam pic from this time last year!!

I can't believe I've posted that haha. Nevermind. Hope you have enjoyed this challenge, I have, I'll be on the look out for a new one to do soon.

10 Day You Challenge. Day 9 - 2 Songs

Hi Girls, I can't believe I've done so well with this challenge. I haven't missed a day yet! And tomorrow is the last day! So proud haha. Here's day 9.

1. My favourite song of all time is Eminem - Sing For The Moment. I was distraught when I found out it isn't actually his song but I love it all the same! Eminem is my favourite artist and I can not wait to see him for the second time this Summer :)

2. I have 2 favourite songs at the minute, I cant choose between the two of them, Charlie Brown - On My Way, and The Saturdays and Sean Paul - What About Us. I love both of them.

This is quite possibly my shortest post ever! I'll be back tomorrow with the very last day of this challenge. Thanks for reading.
Much Love Gemma xo.

10 Day You Challenge, Day 8, 3 Films

Hi Darlings, I'm not hungover like I thought I would be today! I'm so happy :) I had a great night last night and am having a lovely chilled out Bank Holiday today. Hope your all having a great Easter as well. Here's Day 8 of my challenge.

1. Like yesterday my top has to be all of the Twilight films, I absolutely love both the films and the books. I'm gutted the Saga has come to an end now.

2. The first Taken film, I love it. It has to be my all time favourite film, I don't normally like action films but adore this one! It's amazing and it still has me biting my fingernails even after seeing it countless times.

3. When I was younger my favourite film was The Parent Trap (the one with Lindsay Lohan) and I still love it now. It reminds me of my childhood and brings back loads of memories! I think I might watch it later on.

That was short and sweet! Only two more to go and I've completed the challenge. It's been a good one :) Hope your enjoying it as much as me.

10 Day You Challenge. Day 7 - 4 Books

Happy Easter lovely ladies, hope your all having a lovely break and haven't ate too much chocolate! That's if you've even received any Easter Eggs it seems the older we get the less chocolate eggs we get given :( Booo! Anyways on to today's challenge, 4 of my favourite books.

1. The Twilight Saga ofc! I love them!! Defininetly my favourite.

2. Harry Potter and The Prisoner Of Azkaban is my fave Harry Potter book. Loved them when I was growing up!

3. All of Katie Price's autobiographies, yes I know they aren't wrote entirely by her, but I love her and her books are awesome. Don't judge me!

4. PS. I Love You, its great and the film is awesome too :)

There you go my 4 of my fave books, that was actually quiet hard to come up with, because I don't really read anymore. I'll be back tomorrow. Probably hungover, because I'm going out tonight. It's Super Sunday after all! Does anyone else have Super Sunday? I thought it was a northern thing but apparently it's just something from where I live as an excuse to get drunk, let me know if you've heard of it before please :)

10 Day You Challenge. Day 6 - 5 Foods

Hi Girls, I thought Id quickly post today's You Challenge whilst my homemade pizza is cooking in the over :) Today is Day 6 which is 5 foods I love.

1. Cheese, I love the stuff. I probably like everything that has cheese in it, and I think I probably eat some form of it every day (I really don't know if that's healthy :/ but nevermind)

2. Trifle, I can't get enough of the little singular Strawberry Trifles you get from Tesco recently. In fact I just love any type of dessert, trifles, cupcakes, cream cakes, sticky toffe pudding, eton mess. The list is endless I have such a sweet tooth!

3. Steak, rare steak is the best!

4. Chocolate, I'm a girl enough said. I love the stuff.

5. Roast dinner, You can't beat a good roast dinner. I don't eat a lot of veg, but meat, roasties, mash, gravy and yorshire puddings is all I need for a great roast!

What are your favourite foods? Has anyone else started this challenge or am I still the only one? Let me know :) Thank you for reading.

10 Day You Challenge. Day 5 - 6 Places

Hiya Beauties, Today is Day 5 of the 10 Day You Challenge. 6 Places, I don't actually know what places I'm meant to talk about so I've decided to mention a few places I love and a few I want to visit!

1. My bed, its literally the best place in the world I love it.

2. Liverpool, I don't know why I just love going there its my fave place to shop and I just think its a great city.

3. The countryside, with living in Cumbria I am surrounded by countryside and even though I hardly ever do it I love walking through country lanes on a sunny day, its so relaxing and lovely.

4. New York, I am desperate to go there! I'd love doing all the touristy things (I want to see ground zero, the statue of liberty etc) and most importantly I would love to go shopping there. I really want to go in summer and at Christmas time too. I also really want to visit LA and Florida, In fact I would love to just have a massive trip travelling round America.

5. Paris, I went there when I was 14 on a school trip and I loved it! I really want to go back, me and my boyfriend have been saying we're going to go there together for ages now. One day it will happen!

6. Beaches, there's nothing nicer than lying on a red hot beach surrounded by beautiful scenery sipping on cocktails soaking up the sun! Wahhh I really want to go on holiday this year!

So there's my 6 places, where would you like to visit? Let me know.

10 Day You Challenge. Day 4 - 7 Wants

Hi Girls, First of all I made it too 1000 views on the blog this morning so I would just like to say thank you so much, for coming back and visiting my blog time and time again, I really do appreciate every single one of you and I can't thank you enough. I'm so happy to have reached my second milestone :) with that being said onto the challenge, 7 things I want.

1. My mam, it will never happen but if I could have one thing in the world it would be to have her back.

2. More money, me and the boy are really struggling at the minute and I just want a load of money to fall into our lap and all our money trouble to be gone.

3. A massive shopping spree, this follows on from the last thing, I want to go to Liverpool (my fave place to shop, because where I live is rubbish!!!) or somewhere and buy as much make up, clothes, beauty products etc, as I want, without a care in the world.

4. My skin to miraculously become perfect. I by no means have awful skin but I have a few imperfections I would like to see the back of and be left with amazing flawless skin.

5. I really want to go for a nice Carvery followed by an Eton Mess, I've literally been craving Eton Mess for a good few weeks now.

6. Nice weather, right now the sun is shining but it's freezing!! I just want scorching hot weather like I had in Zante last summer!

7. My blog to continue to grow and do well, as I've said before, I love my blog and really want it to become a bigger part of my life. I've loved seeing it gradually grow and I can't wait to see whats in store for me and my blog in the future. It's like my little baby haha.

There you have it then, 7 things I really want :)
Thank you again for visiting my blog and if you haven't already, please do follow me on GFC it would make my day. Hope you've had a good day and are looking forward to a well deserved Easter break.

Wednesday Afternoon Pampering

Hi Lovelies, if you follow me on Instagram (gemmaferris91 if you would like to) then you may have saw a picture that I posted about an hour ago -

(instagram picture)

As its my day off I decided I would give my skin a good clean and pamper, because I've been noticing some imperfections which I thought I may be able to clear up. Here's the products and what I did.

(l-r montagne jeunesse mud pac mask, soap and glory peaches and clean, no7 beautiful skin cleansing water, simple anti-blemish moisturiser, la roche-posay effaclar duo, soap and glory scrub your nose in it, liz earle instant boost skin tonic)

First of all I soaked a cotton pad in my No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water, to make sure there was no make up residue left on my face. Last night I was so tired all I did was use this cleansing water then went to sleep so there could well have been some make up left on my skin from yesterday (yuck!) Then I cleansed with Soap and Glory's, Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk, leaving it to soak into my skin for an extra few minutes to ensure a deep cleanse, then removing in circular movements with one of my Liz Earle muslin cloths soaked in warm water. I got this cleanser when I ran out of my beloved Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, and although its a lovely product and hasn't done anything bad to my skin I don't think I will repurchase it, I'm too set in my ways with my LE cleanser which I adore! Whilst I was in the shower and my pores had opened up with all of the steam and heat I applied the Scrub Your Nose In It Face Scrub from Soap and Glory, I applied this to my t - zone with my fingers, and then buffed it in a bit more with an exfoliating brush, that I have from when I did Beauty Therapy in college. Again I left this to soak into my skin for a few minutes then using the same technique as before I removed it with a muslin cloth. Once I'd had a shower and my face was dry, I applied the Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask with a face mask brush and left that on for 15 minutes, whilst I sat back and relaxed. Once that had set I removed it with warm water on a flannel and spritzed the Instant Boost Skin Tonic all over my face to refresh my skin (as you know I love this product!). Lastly I finished off with some of my Effaclar Duo and Simple moisturiser for a double helping of blemish fighting goodness.
After all of that my skin is now feeling super clean and soft. My pores are all unclogged but still haven't shrunk. And there is no sign of any oilyness on my t - zone. I really enjoyed this little pamper session and would do it again if I ever wanted a really deep facial cleanse and hour of relaxation! There's nothing better than taking some time out to relax and pamper yousrelf!

If you would like reviews of any of the products I have used, then please do let me know, as I would be happy to do that for you guys. And also any product recommendations for reducing pore size are VERY MUCH WELCOMED so please tell me of any wonder products you use, as large pores are something that really bug me and I want to get rid of!!
Hope you enjoyed this post. And if you haven't had a pamper for a long time, go and have one, it makes you look and feel so much better! And everyone loves that!
Much Love Gemma xo.
