Beauty Wishlist!

Hello again lovelies, I've decided to do a little wishlist post for you all today, because recently all I've really posted is my 10 Day You Challenge and I still haven't got round to taking any pictures. This will probably be a long list and I doubt I will ever purchase it all, but its nice to hope for lovely things isn't it?! :) lets get started.

1. Sleek Face Contour Kit - I've wanted this for ages! Everyone seems to have it and raves about it, I currently use the Bourjois chocolate bronzer to contour and I really don't like it, and even though I have my Dior Rose Diamond for a highlight, I think this would be better to use on a day to day basis. And its all in one container, which is always more convenient :) My Superdrug doesn't stock Sleek anymore for some bizarre reason so I'll have to get it online instead and hope the light palette matches my skin tone!

2. Macadamia Flawless Cradle - I think I might have first saw Macadamia Flawless on thesundaygirl's blog and it really appealed to me. It's a cleansing conditioner that comes out of the can as a foam then lathers to a lovely thick cream which is great to both shampoo and condition the hair. I actually hate 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioners but this is apparently amazing so I really want to try it. Whilst looking on feelunique.com I spotted this cradle that comes with the Flawless cleanser (100ml), a 30ml Macadamia Oil and an Oil Infused Comb. If you bought all the products separately it would come to £46 but this cradle is £21.88 which is an absolute bargain and I love the look of that comb!!

3. MAC Lipsticks - I have my eyes on a few MAC Lipsticks at the minute, which are Rebel, Velvet Teddy (only because it's apparently Megan Fox's go to nude and I am in love with that woman) Costa Chic (thanks to a recent post by Kayleigh from CoutureGirl) Candy Yum Yum and Chatterbox. If you can't tell I love MAC lipsticks and really want to start a collection!!

4. Origins Clear Improvements Mask - My skin really annoys me with its huge clogged pores (sorry that sounds vile!) and apparently this is a wonder product for both these problems. So I want to try it out! At £20 though its a bit steep so I still haven't took the plunge and bought it.

5. Emma Hardie 2 Piece Cleansing System - Again the Emma Hardie Natural Lift & Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm is meant to be amazing and I really want to try it out. You can buy this cleansing set including the balm, a face cloth and Aromatherapy Infused Rose Hip Exfoliating Seeds for £38 on QVC  and I really want it!

6. Urban Decay Palettes, Naked, Naked 2 and Naked Basics - Since the first Naked Palette came out I have been dying to get my hands on it and each time a new one comes out I want that as well. They all  look like amazing palettes and I can't choose which one I would prefer so I want the full collection. #typicalbblogger :P

7. Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers - I have the Enrapture Totem Styler which I absolutely adore! And these look just as good. I really enjoy adding volume to my hair with velcro rollers and these look so much better, at both volumising and curling your hair quickly and easily. I really want to try them out.

8. Illamasqua Speckle Polish in Scarce - Ever since the I'mperfection came out I have been eyeing up these bird egg inspired polishes! I've never seen anything like them before, they look like a really interesting and different polish. I would of course get this beautiful pink colour 'Scarce' because I am obsessed with anything pink :)

9. L'Oreal Powder Tecni Art Super Dust - I've only heard this product mentioned once, and that was by Tanya Burr so I immediately wanted to try it out! It apparently gives the most amazing volume to the hair and I love nothing more than voluminous hair! But for over £10 I am a bit hesitant to try it out. Maybe one day!

Hope you enjoyed this slightly different post. If you have any of these products please do let me know what you think of them. And if you want to check any of them out click on the name of the product which will take you straight to the website you can buy them from :)

January Favourites

Hi Everyone, As promised, my January Favourites at long last! Better late than never though ey? Lets get started..

First up the make up I have been using on a daily basis this month.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush - Ever since I bought 2 sets of Real Techniques brushes sometime last year, I have been absolutely loving them. I use this brush every single time I apply my make up. I will usually apply my foundation with my fingers then blend it in with this to give me a flawless finish, Then I will use it again to apply my powder over the top to set my foundation. I really do adore this brush, its the softest brush I have ever owned and I don't know how I managed without it!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - I have been using this concealer for well over a year now and have repurchased it countless times. I haven't even tried anything else because I like this so much. There's always been a huge hype on the blogosphere about this product and I 100% agree with it. This concealer does an amazing job at covering blemishes and dark circles and lasts all day. At less than £5 you really can't go wrong, I use the lightest shade, 01 Fair.

Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Eyeliner - As with all the other make up items in my favourites I love this and use it every single day. I got this not long after it first came out and haven't used any other pencil eyeliner since! The pigmentation of this is amazing and it doesn't budge all day. I have the black and nude versions and am extremely tempted to buy the other shades because I love them so much.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - Lastly for make up is the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, I can't honestly say when I first got this but since first buying it there has been alot of hype around it and again I can see why. It does a really good job at setting your make up and holding it in place. And also combats any shine through out the day. I really like a matte finish to my make up so this is perfect for me. I even swapped this for MAC's blotting powder but once that ran out I went straight back to this as I much preferred it to the MAC powder!

L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil - Now onto haircare. Last year I purchased this hair oil and didn't really use it that much. This month however I have been using it religiously and I really like it. It smells lovely and makes my hair really soft and shiny. And I also feel it has done my hair a world of good since using it. For more info check out my review of it in this blog post.

Enrapture Totem Styler -  I came across this in November time after reading loads of reviews on it and really wanted to buy it for myself. So as you can imagine I was over the moon when I found it on offer in Argos and my brother said he would get it for me as a Christmas present. One of the first things I did on Christmas morning was try these out. You can heat the different sections of the styler to different temperatures to create a variety of looks. So far I have only tried out a few different temperature combinations but I love all of the styles I have managed to create. The curls/waves hold really well and look beautiful. All throughout January I have been picking these up in favour of my beloved GHD's for super quick and easy looks whenever I go out. Review and pictures coming soon!

Finally a miscellaneous favourite of this month has been Temple Run 2. As my iPhone 4s is long dead :( my boyfriend has this on his Kindle Fire HD and I have been playing it whenever I can prise it away from his hands. I was over the moon when I eventually hit 1million points for the very first time, sad I know! But I just had to tweet a picture -

So that's it for my January Favourites, hope you enjoyed it and if you have done one please feel free to leave me a link to it below because I love reading them :) Hopefully the next one will appear before the 8th of the month!

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil

Hi Everyone, a quick review for you today. Some time last year I picked up the L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil, but I have only been using it on a regular basis for the past month or so. So I figured now would be a good time to let you all know what I think.

First of all I love the packaging, its made from very thick and heavy glass making it look and feel really luxurious. And the smell is gorgeous which is probably down to the fact it is made up of 'a precious blend of 6 flower extracts'

Now for the product itself. It can be used in three different ways -
before shampooing for luxurious nourishment
before styling to protect and transform the hair
and as a finishing touch for softness and shine

I've used the oil a few times in each way and I love them all. I mostly use it as a heat protectant or a finish and it leaves my hair beautifully soft. I think my hair has really benefited from using this regulary because even when I don't use it, my hair is much softer than it has ever been. It doesn't make my hair greasy or weigh it down at all, which I was really concerned about before picking it up. In my opinion this is a fantastic product and anyone could benefit from it. The one I have is suitable for any hair type and there is another variation for those with colour treated hair. I decided to go for the first one, even though I do have coloured hair, simply because I'm trying to grow out the colour and was hoping this may speed up the process. So far the colour has faded but I couldn't possibly say if it is down to this oil or not. At £9.99 its brilliant value for money and will last you an extremely long time, definitely worth purchasing!

One last thing. I have only ever used this hair oil. So I unfortunetly can't compare it to the more expensive options out there. I'm looking at you Moroccan Oil, I've been dying to get that for such a long time! And although I probably will try out a few more to see if I can find better, if your a first timer with hair oils like I was and don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money I would strongly recommend getting this to try out.

As always thank you for reading,
Much Love Gemma xo.
